The booking basics.

A request is not a booking

A customer requests a specific photographer package and a time in the photographer’s listed time zone. The photographer must accept for the time to be reserved. Pending requests do not hold a slot. Requests cannot be accepted after their 24-hour response window. Scheduling checks may prevent acceptance if the time becomes unavailable.

Direct payment. Clear agreements.

GoShoot does not process money, hold deposits, protect payments, or deliver final photographs. Customers and photographers arrange payment and delivery directly. Agree all fees, inclusions, licensing, deposits, cancellation and weather arrangements before paying. A displayed booking price is not proof of payment.

Changes and cancellations

Participants can cancel eligible requests or accepted bookings in their dashboard. This changes scheduling status only and does not automatically cancel a separate contract or refund an external payment. Rescheduling requires a new request and fresh availability checks.

Photographer listings

Publish only your own work with the necessary rights and subject consent. Keep packages, service areas and unavailable time accurate. Profiles require approval before public discovery; approval must not be represented as an identity, insurance or outcome guarantee. GoShoot may suspend published listings through its moderation process.

Free launch, limited scope

No GoShoot listing fee or commission applies during the free launch. This is not a lifetime pricing promise or a guarantee of leads. Ranking, custom quotations, recurring availability, calendar sync, payment processing, delivery galleries and guaranteed email notifications are not part of this milestone.

Customer-confirmed reviews

One final rating and public review may be submitted by the customer after an accepted or completed booking ends, with explicit confirmation that the shoot took place. Both participants need verified email accounts; guests cannot create reputation. A GoShoot booking badge is not proof of payment, identity or attendance. Collusion and dishonest confirmations remain possible. Photographer completion alone does not establish eligibility.

Reviews and photographer replies are final in this release. Do not include private contact details, addresses or conversation content. Honest negative feedback is allowed. Report privacy violations, harassment or suspected inauthentic activity through the review controls. Recording a report does not hide feedback or promise human review or a response time. An unrelated administrator can keep or hide reported content with a recorded policy reason; hiding a reply does not remove the customer's rating. Self-service editing and appeals remain unavailable.

Photographers cannot retrospectively cancel an elapsed accepted booking to block feedback. Customers may cancel an eligible booking; this does not erase a review already submitted. Rebooking starts a fresh request with current terms, availability and consent, not the old price or automatic confirmation.

Respectful use

Do not impersonate someone, upload work without permission, harass participants or share payment-card details. Nothing in these preview terms is intended to exclude rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under applicable Australian law.
